At Christ Restoration Tabernacle, we are a non-denominational church committed to seeing lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to share His love, restore hope, and equip believers to walk boldly in their faith. Rooted in prayer, worship, and the Word, we strive to create a welcoming community where people of all ages and backgrounds can grow, discover their purpose, and experience true restoration. Whether through dynamic services, Bible study, youth ministry, or outreach, we believe God has a place and a plan for everyone.
Apostle Jeffrey Lynn Boggas was born September 11, 1969, to Robert & Vivian Boggas in Athens, TX. He was educated in Trinidad, TX in the Trinidad Independent School District. He received his diploma from Trinidad High School in May of 1988. Then he attended Temple Junior College on a basketball scholarship from the fall of 1988 until spring 1990. After completing Temple Junior College, Jeffrey Boggas attended Prairie View A&M University in the fall of 1990, where he studied Agriculture Economics until the spring of 1993.
While attending Prairie View A&M University, met and married De’Angela Davis. They have three wonderful children together, Geoffrey, Myles, and Jesslyn.
Apostle Boggas was called to the ministry in August of 1995 and ordained as Pastor in 1997 by Pastor Fred Thomas, III at Greater St. Peters Baptist Church, Hempstead Texas. He is a Certified Biblical Instructor from the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas and founder of CRT in 2002 and Ezra Ministerial Training Center in 2019. Apostle Boggas is currently under the covering of the Balanced Believers of Central Texas - Under the leadership of Apostle GL & Pastor Danielle Grace, Killeen Texas. Apostle Boggas is also a Global Podcaster with over 28,000 downloads, 450 episodes and thousands of listeners of his weekly broadcast "Maturing in Christ". His mission is to mature the saints of the Lord through sound biblical teaching, and to save the souls of His precious people until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Church History
Christ Restoration Tabernacle was founded by Pastor Jeffrey & Minister De’Angela Boggas on November 2, 2003. There were 6 founding members, Pastor and First Lady, Minister & Mrs. Robert Brown, Evangelist Tammie Galveston, & Sis. Pam Edwards along with the six children. The first church service was held at the Roberts Road Elementary until moving to the home of Pastor Boggas. Under the covering of “Covenant Connection” Apostle Michael and Lady Janice Stevenson, The Greenway Church, Fort Worth, Texas. Each Sunday the furniture would be moved from the living room to the garage, and folding chair would be set up for the members. There was still Praise and Worship, just held in various portions of the house. As the membership grew, the garage was converted into the sanctuary. And the living room became Children’s Church; birthing Kids Kingdom. We continued to meet there until May of 2004. We then moved to a warehouse in Prairie View, were our membership grew even more, we better established. There were several changes made to the structure of the inside of the building, the front room was converted into Pastor’s office, and the walls were moved and the back area became the sanctuary. All while the membership continued to grow; we would implement new ministries: AOT (Angels of the Tabernacle) The Brotherhood, and enhancements to Kid’s Kingdom to include KCRT. While various first were accomplished, among many moved - we were blessed to move to the current location at 22300 Santa Monica, were God began to mature the members. Over the years we have added several new ministries: Praise in Motion, Perfecting Fellowship, Chayil Woman, Life Ministries, Intercessory Team, Ushers & Greeters and a Mothers Board where Mother Necie McDade and Mother Sarah Johnson preside. Currently we are under the Anointed Covering of Balanced Believers of Central Texas with Apostle GL and Pastor Danielle Grace, Killeen, Texas.
